The USB Connector housing came free from the head unit. It seems like there should be some type of housing holding the connector in place.
This picture is the housing pushed back onto the pins, it will slide off. It looks like the tags on the rear of the connector have broken away from the PCB.
The video below is from what appears to be a now defunct FactoryRadioParts.com. The same vendor that the replacement touchscreen was sourced from.
I am not able to find a replacement PCB for the radio, so some other fix will be needed for now. Maybe something simple like a sacrificial extender .
