Trying to replicate last years stem caps without much success.
The XTool designs are on the github repo, but the settings seem off. It is either a different material on the cap, or the settings for the burner are incorrect.
It looks and feels like the burn is too deep.
After inspection, the lens was filthy. This was cleaned along with much of the rest of the machine.
The clarity of the prints improved after the cleaning. However, not to the point where it looked as good as last year.
This is on the black, what appears to be powder coated Aluminum.
Cleaning the cap with Isopropyl alcohol one the burn was complete did make the results look a lot better.
The Red caps appear to be anodized, this requires that the burn is longer.
